  • Assisting homeless veterans and all veterans in need.

  • Answering the questions asked by all veterans about their Veterans Administration benefits. For this assistance, please contact our Post Service Officer, Lieutenant Colonel, retired, Mark Lampl at mark@lineofdeparture.biz

  • Conducting Honor Guard’s three-volley rifle salutes at funerals for veterans and service members. We also conduct these ceremonies on Memorial Day, Veterans Day, at veteran’s memorial services and at private institutions.

A Unique Event Space

Port Washington’s VFW Post 1819 offers a unique event space perfect for meetings, parties and gatherings of all kinds. Proceeds from rentals benefit the VFW’s veteran members and veteran organizations.

This bright and airy space features neutral colors and is a versatile space customizable for everything from family events such as children’s parties, baby showers, or business events such as a team building or training.
